Jimmy Taylor
Welcome to the office of the Vice President for External Affairs. The Vice President for External Affairs is responsible for being a link between the community and University of Alabama. The community ranges from the city of Tuscaloosa up to state and federal matters.
Jimmy Taylor is a junior double majoring in finance and communication studies. He is from Fairhope, Alabama and has served with the Student Government Association for two years. Jimmy encourages students to visit his office in 231O Ferguson with any questions or concerns or contact him by phone at 348-6122.
Vice President for External Affairs Goals:
- Strengthen ties between the city of Tuscaloosa and the student body.
- Coordinate state-wide events such as Alabama Youth Summit and Higher Education Day.
Create community service boards with representatives from student groups throughout campus to create awareness for service events.
